SMBC Project Highlight
SMBC is an office-to-lab retrofit of two buildings totaling ~250,000 sqft, featuring new mechanical and plumbing systems for central plants, lab exhaust, and domestic water, with 12 of 14 floors undergoing spec lab TI build-out for Longfellow. The project used BIM coordination and extensive prefabrication to enhance scheduling, productivity, and efficiency.
