Project Summary

Retrofit of a building in Alameda totaling roughly 60,000 square feet of life science and office space. New mechanical systems included custom Air Handling Units to different lab spaces, high-efficiency condensing boiler plant for heating system, water cooled chilled water plant for cooling system. Vivarium air handling system included humidity control as well as backup DX cooling on E-power. We utilized highly energy-efficient designs for their chemistry and biology labs, while also implementing robust controls programming and functionality for their more critical lab spaces like their vivarium.
