Project Summary
The Clinical Sciences Building (CSB), constructed in 1933, is one of the oldest buildings on the UCSF Parnassus Heights campus. The eight story, 109,126 gross square foot (gsf) building was renovated and retrofited to meet seismic safety requirements. The Design/Build project provided the building with high efficiency dual duct system for LEED GOLD certification and Saving By Design. Due to tight space within the existing historical structural, Koolduct and ThermaDuct were used to eliminate any extra weight.
